We believe that the thrill and excitement of the
actual hunt is as important as the trophies taken.
This belief combined with Niassa’s rugged wilderness
makes this experience truly unique.
|The Mozambique government and its peoples
over the last several years have increasingly learned
the value that sport-hunting adds to not only the economy
of the country, but to its conservation as well. The
result has been efforts by the country to increase and
improve the quality of game populations, apply more
stringent rules governing hunting areas and operators
and increasing services to international clients. These
factors greatly benefit today's hunter that travels
Safrique welcomes you to an unforgettable hunting safari
in Mozambique. Enjoy the thrill of an early morning
stalk on a weary “dagga boy” and then reminiscence around
the campfire that night about the successful hunt. Our
areas and the Niassa Reserve are renowned for both large
elephant and outstanding lion. Leopard is plentiful
and there is good buffalo hunting in the riverine forests.
Unique species include Lichtenstein Hartebeest and Niassa
Wildebeest. There are also the largest concentrations
Sable found anywhere in Africa and the trophy quality
is also at the top.

experience with Safrique!
"This is a true HUNTERS HUNT. You have to
work for the game, but the Trophy Quality
is worth it. I took a Beautiful Lion, Sable,
Zebra and Warthog. I saw Waterbuck, Kudu,
Eland, Reedbuck, Lichtenstein Hartebeest,
Hippo, Duiker, Crocodile, Elephant and Leopard.
I had an opportunity on many of these. But
I was busy chasing down the Buffalo Dagga
boys. They gave us a run for our money,
getting close on a couple occasions, but
they busted us each time.
I cant say enough about Matthew Muns and
his staff at SAFRIQUE. They did a First
class job. The camp was great, the food
was Fantastic, and my PH Ian Rutledge and
I had a great time hunting together. SAFRIQUE
offers Hunts on all of the Dangerous game
on their place, Elephant, Lion, Buffalo
and Leopard. This is truly the African Hunting
